Bollywood doesn’t learn…

History teaches us to learn from our mistakes. But apparently this axiom doesn’t seem to apply to Bollywood. Why else would the disastrous combination of Govinda and Sushmita Sen be repeated?

David Dhawan’s Do Knot Disturb stars Govinda, Sushmita, Lara Dutta and Ritesh Deshmukh. Sush plays Govinda’s wife in the film. If you’ll remember, they were cast together in 2001 in another David Dhawan movie, Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta. The film bombed as did the pairing.

Did Mr Dhawan think that wouldn’t happen again? Maybe it will, maybe it won’t!

Both actors are great by themselves. But a pretty and sophisticated lady like Sush with the old yet funny Govinda…time will tell whether they can make it work this time…

Missing chemistry

Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan. What kind of a couple is that? For one, he looks way too old. True, he’s about as old as Shah Rukh or Aamir, but somehow, in the recent past he has been looking weird and not-so-smart-and-sexy. To top it all, Kareena has been looking wow. So how is this pair going to work for the audience in Main aur Mrs Khanna?

If you’ve seen the trailers of the film, you’ll see that Kareena looks as gorgeous as ever. Kambakkht Ishq may have flopped, but she looked super hot. Courtesy her sexy figure and some fabulous clothes and accessories by Shabina Khan and Aki Narula.

Perhaps an effort has been made to give Kareena a more mature look in Main aur Mrs Khanna, so she doesn’t look like Salman’s daughter. But the fact remains that he still looks a whole lot older. She respects him a great deal (in real life), but that doesn’t mean they look good together. There is zero chemistry there!

Time to call it quits for Salman? Or maybe he should stick to playing the ever-irritating host on Dus ka Dum.

Ok this is confusing. Are they engaged or not? I’m talking about Imran Khan and Avantika Malik…

If reports are to be believed, he proposed to her on her Birthday, in the presence of all her guests. Well obviously she said yes. Awwwwww!

But then there is news of this being just a rumour! What are we to believe?

Whether the couple is indeed engaged or not, is immaterial. The point is they look so adorable together!

Imran’s films might or might not do well, but who cares! He’s cute, and with Avantika he looks even more so. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na launched him big time; Kidnap failed and so did Luck. But Avantika has always been by his side, and hopefully will always be. Touchwood!

Young or old…what’s there:P

Female actors being paired with men who are old enough to be their fathers is a trend in the film industry. Look at Katrina and Akshay, or Shah Rukh and Deepika. So is the fact that a lot of older female artists are playing the love interests of younger men. Case in point: Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in Dil Bole Hadippa.

If you’ve seen the trailers you would have noticed that Shahid has been given a more grown-up look so as to look older than Rani. Not very tough considering that she is only a few years his senior. But the fact is that she has a very mature face, and Shahid looks young for his age.

Perhaps to not look like his mother Rani has worked out extensively. As a result she is looking younger, and her body definitely looks more toned.

There seems to be some level of comfort between the two, as witnessed in the songs; how good the chemistry really is we’ll know once we watch the film!

And the score is LOVE ALL!!!

Yes love is in the air again..or so we believe! Apparently Mahesh Bhupathi and Lara Dutta are something of an item now!

The famous tennis player, who is apparently going through a rough phase in his married life, is allegedly dating the Bollywood hottie Lara Dutta.

If you remember, she was dating Dino Morea until quite recently. Hmmmm. Looks like that love story is out of the window now! And considering that she is looking like a million bucks nowadays (watch the promos of Blue if you want proof) how could Mahesh not get floored??
